“When it’s time to create a new reality, start with a foundation of cooperation and balance.” Linda O’Keefe
Well, hello again, my friends. I sincerely hope that 2017 glided into your rear view mirror with a cheeky wave and an air of completion. In so many ways, it was a year of “firsts”, testing the boundaries of cooperation and balance at every step. Speaking for my empath self, it was challenging to maintain balance between my work and personal life as I sensed the seismic shifts happening internally and externally. Sometimes I felt like one of those stabilizers on a cruise ship, holding my “arms” out to create some steadiness in the choppy energetic waves. It made it hard to stay steady with anything, including keeping up regularly with my blog here, which is why you may have noticed that I’ve been pretty quiet over the last two months. Ah, the sea of life. My Captain hubby will love that!
Like all of you, when I’m challenged I frequently shift back to some powerful tools I’ve learned. One that I recently pulled back out of my toolbox is the Life Path work of Dan Millman from his breakout book “The Life You Were Born to Live”. Some of you have experienced me calculating your “numbers” and telling you what they mean. In my experience, about 90% of the time, they are so accurate for people (and they certainly were for me!), that it’s almost scary. And, that accuracy is how people come to trust it. But using the lens of numerology isn’t limited to a person’s life path. It can be used to understand the focus, as it were, of an event, a year, etc. And I was really anxious to know about 2017 and 2018. What are the themes, what’s really happening?
2017 was a “10/1” year, meaning it was a beginning of a brand new cycle. Ah, that explained a lot. A new cycle IS a beginning AND frequently throws all that was into a rather chaotic pot of question. So, it’s a wild ride.
And, what are we moving into? Well 2018 is an 11/2 year. 11 is one of only 3 “Master Numbers” which basically doubles the power to “master” the theme, creativity/spirituality. This alone would mean it an explosively powerful opportunity to create, well, whatever you/we want to, as long as it’s aligned with the spiritual self AND the “2” energy of cooperation and balance. Bottom line, it’s time to create amazing new, meaningful realities with others while maintaining balance. Whew!
So, let’s get going…together!
P.S. If you want to find out more about your personal life path numbers and see if they are accurate for you, head over to Dan Millman’s Life Purpose “calculator”. I’d love to hear about your experience with it!
